Child-Computer Interaction
by Juan Pablo Hourcade
Child-computer interaction is the field focused on how to design interactive technology for children, and how children may make the most out of it in order to have the most positive impact on their lives and development.
The author says that “the book is ideal for graduate students entering the field, as well as for practitioners and researchers coming from other fields who want to quickly catch up with child-computer interaction research. It can also be a useful book for teaching courses on child-computer interaction.” I’ll add that it also works as a great manual for advanced professionals. The book is generously offered as a free resource!
