First cohort starts on Friday, November 25
This is for you, if:
You’re in a role that involves understanding children’s needs and perspectives
You're making creative or product decisions that affect children
You don’t have limitless time and energy to invest—and you still want to do your best
What to expect?
The main goal is to take us through a journey of connecting better to child experience and creating a habit to deepen it. The content is designed to suit busy lives:
-
Week 1 - Understand
Who are the children we serve and how could we deepen our understanding of them?
-
Week 2 - Connect
How can we create trust and connect better in real time?
-
Week 3 - Translate
Now what?! How to integrate newly discovered insights into our daily work and improve our outcomes?
-
Week 4 - Sustain
How to sustain the child experience mindset after the bootcamp is over? Creating routines that help us stay connected.

I tried to build it in a way that fits the working parents schedule and make it as flexible as possible.
The minimum commitment is 2 one-hour zoom calls over 4 weeks (will be recorded, in case you miss some), daily micro content or exercise, growing library of resources (will adjust to the interests of the participants) and ideally some interaction within the working group for sharing and helping each other. So I'd say, in total the minimum is 4-5 hours a week.

The content is applicable to all ages within 0-18 range, with additional nuances and specifics depending on the participants’ interests. I see this program as a plugin that fits into your journey, and my role as helping you do your best in serving the children you focus on—whether that’s a toddler or a high school student.

Daily tasks could be something to think about during the day, a short video or an ask to go somewhere unexpected when searching for inspiration, etc... The goal of the daily task is to fit into your day and gradually enrich your child-centered mindset. The tasks themselves might look easy and not be new to you, but combined with the transformative energy we create over time together—the content, the people, and the shared intention for growth—I believe each daily task will be very powerful.

All online meetings will be recorded, and you can always catch up and ask questions before and after.
The rest of the content is asynchronous, so you can engage with it whenever it suits you, even after the bootcamp is officially over.
I’m Polina Lulu. I help designers, researchers, founders, and entrepreneurs grow their child-centered mindset and creative confidence by connecting to how children actually experience the world—so they can design with clarity, care, and integrity, creating products and environments that truly support and inspire young people.
With over a decade of experience in child-centered design, learning, and play, I translate leading research and industry insights into practical, everyday guidance for those building thoughtful, impactful experiences for children.
This bootcamp is what I wish I had a few years ago—a structured, inspiring space to slow down, listen more deeply, and build a practice grounded in real connection with youth and collective wisdom.
